Dr. Uccelli is a native of Reno, Nevada. He graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, which is based in Reno not Las Vegas. Dr. Uccelli has been married to his wife Kelly since 2004. Together they have three sons: Louie, Tony, and Gino. Tony and Gino are fraternal twins. In addition to being a husband and father, Dr. Uccelli enjoys cooking, racquetball, running, playing the drums, watching Mixed Martial Arts (UFC), and writing. Dr. Uccelli entered medical school with an open mind as far as specialties were concerned. During his third year of medical school he decided to pursue a career in surgery after a 12-week, hands-on rotation in Las Vegas. Dr. Uccelli believes that surgery offers him the chance to make a profound and rapid difference in a patient's life. |
