Dr. Brian Coates received his Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Utah State University. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. Dr. Coates has always been interested in science on a molecular level; however he chose a career in surgery because he is also fascinated by anatomy, and how surgical science affects disease. In his spare time Dr. Coates enjoys training for marathons and triathlons. He also enjoys backpacking, skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family. |
