Lawrence Koep, MD, FACS
Transplant Service Rotation Director

Dr. Lawrence Koep is board-certified in general surgery specializing in pancreas surgery and treatments for pancreatic cancer, kidney transplantation and surgical treatments for kidney disease, liver transplant procedures and surgical treatments for liver tumors. Dr. Lawrence Koep received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his surgical internship and residency and a transplant fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. He has been instrumental in establishing a highly regarded and very active transplant and hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery program at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Lawrence Koep has been practicing since 1970 and is part of Arizona Transplant Associates in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jeffrey Brink, MD, FACS

Dr. Jeffery Brink is board-certified in general surgery specializing in organ transplantation, cancer of the liver and pancreas and complex hepatobiliary disease. He is also proficient in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical procedures for liver, pancreas, kidney, and adrenal disease. Dr. Brink received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. He completed a fellowship in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Jeffrey Brink has been practicing since 1997 and is part of Arizona Transplant Associates in Phoenix, Arizona.

James Cashman, MD, FACS

Dr. James Cashman is board-certified in general surgery specializing in organ transplantation, cancer of the liver and pancreas, and complex hepatobiliary disease. He is also proficient in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical procedures for pancreas, liver, kidney, and adrenal disease. Dr. James Cashman received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program and a fellowship in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center. Dr. James Cashman has been practicing since 1993 and is part of Arizona Transplant Associates in Phoenix, Arizona.
